About the role

Job tasks and responsibilities

A position has become available for a reliable and hard-working Storeperson looking for a stable and long-term opportunity within our team based in Bibra Lake. This role is key to the day-to-day control of stock movements: receiving deliveries and putting away stock. Occasionally delivering to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unloading delivery vehicles; check deliveries by performing incoming goods inspections and reject material that does not conform.
  • Put away received materials into designated areas.
  • Stock control, i.e., FIFO and inventory accuracy and stocktakes.
  • Operating forklift and other materials handling equipment, including start-up checks and procedures.
  • Contributing to the cleanliness of the site through area ownership
  • Cover for delivery driver when they are absent or on leave.

Skills and experience

A manual LR license will be highly regarded.

A forklift license and warehousing experience is essential. A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude is also essential.
