THE POSITION
An exciting position has become available for an Automotive Parts Interpreter within our large and successfully run local business in Mackay.
In this role you will be responsible for selling, stock control and administration of parts while ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered in every transaction.
Duties include:
- Identifying parts and components
- Consulting catalogues
- Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
- Materials handling
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Receiving and filling orders for parts
- Invoice preparation
- Organising dispatch
- Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Developed knowledge of the automotive industry
- Strong customer service focus
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to operate in a multi-faceted and fast pace environment
- Use of Parts Catalogues (Micro-Cat and Toyota Live) is highly regarded
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Qualifications as a Parts Interpreter (Certificate III in Automotive Sales - Parts Interpretation)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Technical Aptitude
