Sign Writer

We are an established signage company in Sydney's North West specialising in high quality signage. We are seeking a Signwriter on a full time basis.

THE ROLE

• Discuss signage requirements with clients to determine the best sign type and composition of material for proposed signage or wrap
• Measure and calculate material requirements ( e.g. vinyl quantity, letter size, panel size and / or decal size ) for cost estimate
• Preparing labour and material cost estimates to assist owner in formalizing quote
• Assist designer in creating wall murals, vinyl sign writing and custom vehicle art using appropriate computer software ( Illustrator, Photo shop, Microsoft Word )
• Use CutStudio software with Roland large format cutter to create decals, vinyl lettering, logos and printed shapes
• Finalise production ( weeding, trimming, double sided tape, painting, glueing )
• Apply vinyl wrap to a variety of media ( ACP, corflute, truck sides, cars, walls, glass )
• Carefully remove existing vehicle wraps or vinyl signage and prepare surface ( including painting walls as appropriate ) before installation
• Install signs on-site erecting three dimensional lettering and signs, rigid panels, banners, window frosting, graphics and vinyl wall murals
• Comfortable installing signs at height on-site using ladders, Hydraulic Platform ( e.g. scissor lifts, cherry picker ) or scaffolding
• Skilfully install high-quality wraps and vinyl graphics to vehicles with exceptional attention to detail

YOU MUST:

• Have minimum 3 years relevant signage industry experience
• Have minimum 1 year commercial vehicle wrapping experience
• Be living in Australia and have the right to work in Australia.
• Have a valid driver's licence
• Have excellent English speaking skills and be well presented
• Be comfortable and capable to work independently with the ability to problem solve if issues arise
• Be punctual and reliable at all times and maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Be available for occasional early, late or weekend work if required to meet the needs of our clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
