We are after 2 support workers with experience in personal care, manual handling (hoist), and challenging behaviour.
The Role and Responsibilities, may involve:
- Assisting participants with their NDIS goals and daily activities
- Breaking down everyday tasks, and helping them build a consistent routine
- Assist with personal care, manual handling and challenging behaviours
- Plan and participate in community-focused activities
- Transport clients to appointments and outings
- Create an innovative approach to best interact with each participant's individual needs.
To be considered applicants must have:
- Must have Catheter Care experience
- Must have Manual Handling experience
- Must have Personal Care experience
- Must be able to support clients with Challenging Behaviours
- Must be available from 7am to 7am
- Good writing skills for all mandatory reports
- Please note: Student visa holders will not be considered due to the potential for ongoing (Casual) full-time hours for the right candidate.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with a comprehensive car insurance
- Please be aware that all applicants will be required to undergo a screening process, which includes a NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working with Children Check, a National Police Check passed to the employer satisfaction.
