 owns and operates the established Second Fortune Gold Mine and the newly launched Fish mine in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia. To support our expanding operations and upcoming projects, we are looking for an Environmental and Approvals Manager to join our rapidly growing team.

Based in our Subiaco Head Office, with occasional site travel, you will lead a small team (currently 1 x FIFO Environmental Superintendent) to meet the existing regulatory requirements for our two operational mines, while supporting new constructions and DFS projects. You will:

  • Lead and develop approvals strategies for new projects, site expansions, and operational changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage, directly and through consultants, high-quality environmental and mining-related approval submissions (e.g. mining proposals, EIAs, works approvals).
  • Monitor legislative and policy changes, providing timely compliance advice and integrating requirements into project plans and risk frameworks.
  • Oversee internal audits, manage non-conformances, and collaborate with teams to embed regulatory compliance across operations.
  • Represent the company in regulatory and industry forums, support stakeholder engagement (including Traditional Owners), and manage the approvals budget.

Joining our Extended Leadership Team, you will have significant experience managing an environmental function within the mining industry, relevant tertiary qualifications, demonstrated strategic and leadership capability, project (such as DFS project) experience, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and significant experience managing the complex approvals processes with regulatory bodies.
