Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor/Site Foreman to oversee residential building projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have some experience in residential construction and site supervision, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
This role would also suit someone looking for Part-time work (2/3 days a week) with a possibility of Full time depending on performance and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for residential projects. Ensure work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Manage and direct subcontractors, trades, and laborers. Schedule and oversee material deliveries to keep the project on track.
- Monitor site progress, conduct quality control checks, and address any construction issues.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment. Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, inspections, and incidents.
Requirements:
- Some experience in residential construction or site supervision (formal qualifications preferred but not essential).
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and documents. Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of working in an outdoor environment. Valid driver's license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trade certification (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying etc.) or relevant construction training.
- Familiarity with local building codes and residential construction regulations. Experience working with builders, developers, or residential project managers.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week
