Are you looking for an exciting role where every day is different?
Do you love animals?
Do you have a creative mind and want to actually use it?
Do you look good in khaki?
Want to experience living & working in the Sunny Coast Hinterland?
Kookaburra Park is a boutique farm stay and wedding venue where no two days are the same We're seeking a passionate, hands-on manager to lead our small team, deliver unforgettable guest experiences, and bring creative ideas to life.
In this diverse role, you'll oversee daily park operations, host weddings and events, care for our rescued animals, and create engaging social media content to showcase our unique destination. From styling our onsite shop/cafe to coordinating animal feeding and family activities, your creativity and initiative will shine.
This is a lifestyle role with onsite accommodation included, perfect for someone who thrives in nature, loves kids and animals, and enjoys variety. Strong social media and marketing skills are essential, along with the confidence to work autonomously.
Experience in the caravan park/camping ground or wedding venue industries is NOT required. Instead, your skills and personality are what will land you this job
If you're ready to make our guests' favourite place in the world your office, we'd love to hear from you
About the Role
Start date: early January 2026
Enjoy the beautiful hinterland rural lifestyle with a subsidised two bedroom house part of the package. This role is for an individual (not a management couple) however couples and families are welcome to live onsite and enjoy this incredible lifestyle.
This role is truly unique and the variety of tasks day to day will change. You must be willing and able to coordinate weddings and other events right through to cleaning amenities whilst having a chat with guests.
A love for animals is absolutely essential. We rescue and adopt our fury team members and they are a core part of the park experience. You must also be great working with kids, as young families are our target market.
You will operate extremely autonomously with a hands off management style from the park owners - ensuring the park is prepped and ready for guest arrival, managing guest bookings and their experience whilst in the park and managing the small team.
Experience in social media marketing is essential. You must have confidence in content creation, creating campaigns, branding, meta, TikTok, canva, email marketing campaigns and website edits.
This role will lead the planning and execution of themed weekends and events. A business development mind will thrive, with the objective to increase bookings through the quieter months.
A creative brain that will have fun and enjoy creating content and engaging our online community. Ensuring the key messages of the business are communicated in entertaining ways. This is a core duty and skills in this area will be highly valued.
Merchandising and creating a beautiful, on theme shop and reception environment that is 'insta-worthy' stocking the shop with beautiful local goods and ensuring the parks overall aesthetic is on brand. If you have a knack for styling, this is for you
Your two days off will be week days, with most working weeks Wednesday - Sunday pending school holidays, events and the overall team roster.
Key KPI's include the guest experience, feedback and reviews. We do NOT measure based on sales or dollar targets. We believe the business will continue to grow when we focus on all the important small and large details that ensure our guests have the most amazing experience, and tracking your success based on a dollar figure that is easily manipulated by outside factors (weather, economy etc) is not the best way to motivate you. We want this to be the best job you've ever had… even if it involves cleaning a lot of toilets
