Keep nature wild and beautiful As an ambassador of Happitat, you'll be the guardian of our wild spaces, keeping the park safe, vibrant, and adventure-ready. From maintaining lush landscapes to ensuring our trails and facilities are in top shape, your work will help create an unforgettable experience where nature and excitement go hand in hand.

Got what it takes?

This role requires someone who:


• Radiates positive and vibrant energy to ensure every customer feels welcomed and appreciated


• Proactively ensures the safety and visual appeal of the park by managing resources and maintaining the park grounds


• Assists with manual tasks across the park as part of the preventative maintenance program with the facilities, infrastructures, roads, and walking path networks


• Implement & maintain scheduled grounds maintenance including raking, mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, irrigation, weeding, rubbish removal as required


• Is confident in the operation and maintenance of equipment as required


• Conducts regular inspections & audits of grounds to identify & remedy potential safety hazards or issues

Do you fit the bill?

We've got a few deal breakers, so you'll need to:


• Have a current Hepatitis A vaccination or willing to get


• Have a current First Aid certificate


• Have Chainsaw Level 2 ticket


• Have demonstrated practical experience, a sound knowledge of general maintenance, and a genuine passion for gardening and horticulture.


• Have an understanding of exposure and working in outdoor environments


• Possess a positive and happi outlook with a can-do attitude


• Be a team player and self-motivated


• Be physically fit


• Have your own reliable vehicle

Are you prepared?


• Areas of the park can be challenging at times, including varied weather conditions, so this position is best suited to an individual comfortable working outdoors, and maintains their physical fitness.


• Our days of operation are Thursday to Monday.


• Weekends, public holidays, and school holidays are our time to shine, so all hands are on deck. Availability during these times is a minimum requirement.
