Traineeship - Outdoor Education 2026

Trinity Grammar School is looking for applicants for our Outdoor Education Traineeship for 2026. The Traineeship operates for 18 months and involves working full time at our Field Studies Centre on the NSW South Coast. The role includes being involved in the Outdoor Education Program, preparing equipment and planning for the programs.

The year also includes training for a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership and this training is delivered in partnership with Kiama Community College. Our aim is for the successful applicants to finish the 18-month period with the training, qualifications and experience to be an effective outdoor group leader.

Our ideal candidate will be keen to be involved in all aspects of School life. You will be kept busy supporting day-to-day learning, outdoor education activities, co-curricular activities as well as learning the operational aspects of the Field Studies Centre.

The Traineeship has traditionally been taken up by students in the year after completing their Year 12 studies.
