Privacy Program Lead

Sydney / Hybrid

6-month contract (with option to convert to perm)

About the Role

As
Privacy Program Lead
, you will play a critical role in building a world-class privacy program. Reporting to the Head of Security and partnering closely with Legal and Compliance, you will design, lead and embed a global privacy program that safeguards people, supports innovation, and meets privacy requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and lead the organisation's global privacy program
  • Design and embed privacy frameworks aligned to GDPR/PECR
  • Manage privacy tooling, processes and RoPA
  • Oversee DSAR and data deletion workflows
  • Advise on privacy by design for new products and markets
  • Lead vendor privacy assessments and support contract reviews
  • Drive a privacy-first culture across a fast-moving business

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, PECR)
  • Experience building or maturing privacy programs
  • Hands-on exposure to DPIAs, DSARs, vendor risk and privacy tooling.
  • Ability to communicate privacy concepts across technical, legal and business teams
  • Desirable: Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CISSP or CISM a plus (not mandatory)
