THE ROLE
- Partner with operational leads, the wider safety community at Winslow and our client to drive and deliver safety objectives and performance.
- Implementation of Winslow's safety policies and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and mitigating risk.
- Conducting safety audits.
- Performance monitoring and data analysis.
- Guidance on subcontractor management.
- Providing continual support and coaching.
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate IV or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Prior safety experience gained within a project environment, preferably civil construction
- Ability to effect change to achieve safety targets over a sustained period with a subcontractor and employee workforce.
- Possess knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management systems standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to influence at various business levels.
- Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
- Ability to think strategically, considering both client and local objectives/drivers.
- Ability to conduct audits; investigations of safety issues and assist in developing improvement plans based on findings.
- Demonstrated ability to develop safety improvement plans to drive and promote safety awareness programs.
- Understanding of a safety philosophy and previous experience with establishing and implementing these systems in a project environment.
