Reporting to the Bid Director, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Project Management Framework (PMF) and governance systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a unique opportunity to shape how governance supports performance, innovation, and stakeholder confidence in an evolving energy landscape.

• Leading the development and implementation of governance structures for major infrastructure projects across various categories.
• Collaborating with project teams, sponsors, and corporate stakeholders to embed governance processes that enable successful project outcomes.
• Providing expert guidance on project controls, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitating governance forums, supporting assurance activities, and leading the continuous enhancement of systems and practices.
• Championing the Project Management Framework and working closely with other leaders to align governance with organisational goals.
• Contributing to strategic reporting and project health assessments, helping to inform investment decisions at the highest levels.

You'll work in a collaborative environment where your leadership will directly support Transgrid's mission to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy infrastructure.

About You

You are an experienced leader in project governance and infrastructure delivery, known for your ability to build trusted relationships and drive continuous improvement. Specifically, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven expertise in governance, delivery, and reporting of complex infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated knowledge of integrated project controls.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Experience navigating compliance, audit, risk, and assurance frameworks.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
