Overview

We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of Dabble's global Core experience across our Sportsbook and Fantasy Sports apps. This role is ideal for someone with strong payments and fraud experience, who stays current with emerging technologies and applies them to deliver better, safer customer experiences.

You'll be customer-centric and passionate about building exceptional user experiences and seamless end-to-end journeys. You'll own product outcomes across the Dabble apps - defining roadmaps, facilitating ideation and discovery, supporting research and design, writing clear requirements, leading UAT, and driving delivery.

You'll work cross-functionally with Technology, Payments, Security, and Customer Intelligence, alongside broader business stakeholders. Success in the role requires clear, consistent communication and the ability to deliver initiatives that span both customer-facing in-app experiences and backend operational capabilities, across all jurisdictions where Dabble operates.

Primary Location

This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne or Brisbane may be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Payments & Fraud initiatives (ideation → design → requirements → release)
  • Own the roadmap across deposits, withdrawals, and risk management features in-app and operationally
  • Partner with Payments to expand and optimise global payment method coverage
  • Manage third-party partners and recommend tooling/process improvements for payment flows and fraud prevention
  • Prioritise initiatives aligned to strategy, customer impact, and delivery timelines
  • Facilitate cross-functional discovery to define requirements and solution designs
  • Collaborate with UI/UX to craft seamless end-to-end customer journeys
  • Drive delivery with engineering squads: backlog clarity, sprint rituals, and execution support
  • Lead UAT and regression testing, ensuring high-quality releases
  • Track performance and adoption; communicate outcomes in regular stakeholder updates
  • Incorporate customer insights via Voice of the Customer into iterative improvements

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in Digital Product Management, delivering products from concept to launch
  • Experience in sports betting or gaming
    (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with payment gateways, processors, fraud tools, and APIs
  • Strong familiarity with APIs, SQL, and payments technology to inform product decisions
  • Proven experience writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, keeping tickets clear and up to date
  • Experience analysing product performance and reporting insights to stakeholders
  • Comfortable working day-to-day with developers to ensure delivery meets spec, including hands-on testing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical, able to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Experience with product experimentation and related tools
    (beneficial)

Are you a Dabbler?

A Dabbler's attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps. A Dabbler is always a team player, with a willingness to share with and learn from others. Being a remote-first workplace, collaborative working styles are crucial to empower and grow each individual member (eg we prefer openness via public channels to problem solve or ideate on Slack).

A Dabbler uses their freedom of autonomy to its absolute potential and enjoys contributing to the Dabble community. We hold respect for our peers very highly – there is no such thing as a bad idea. We encourage you to think differently, be brave and strive to always raise the bar. Dabble was born out of thought sharing and should tackle growth in the same way. Dabble embraces empowerment of all people at any level of seniority and experience to 'own their work' and 'talk their book' wherever they can.

A fulfilling life extends beyond work, and we encourage our employees to prioritise self-care and well-being. This means taking breaks when needed, setting boundaries, and seeking support when facing challenges. We are committed to creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their wellbeing and accessing resources when necessary.

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
