What This Role Looks Like

  • Allocation of resources to the team to maintain Council's parks and civil infrastructure
  • Supervise and ensure works are completed to standard and within designated timeframes
  • Conduct a daily tool box and maintenance check of plant and equipment and report issues.
  • Assist with daily management of team and associated tasks
  • Operate mowers and a range of equipment to maintain parks, gardens, sports fields and nature strips.
  • Prepare and maintain turf and landscaped areas
  • Assist in resolving high level or escalated customer requests, complaints and enquiries.
  • Assist with maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes
  • Maintain team engagement; provide mentoring and coaching to team members.

What We Are Seeking In Our New Team Member

  • Certificate III Horticulture, Greenkeeping, Landscaping or related field.
  • White Card – General Construction Induction
  • NSW Drivers Licence (Class C)
  • Chemical Certificate Accreditation (desirable)
  • Traffic Control Ticket (desirable)
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
