Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-end Engineer to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement and maintain scalable, performant and secure front-end applications. You will collaborate closely with other front-end engineers, product managers, UX designers, accessibility experts and other stakeholders to deliver robust, user-friendly solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience building large-scale front-end applications, a strong foundation in software architecture, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Experience working with back-end systems is a plus.

Mandatory Skills:

• 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• 4+ years of experience in React, Redux and Redux Saga.
• 8+ years of experience with NodeJS.
• 2+ years of experience running A/B and multivariate tests with Optimizely.
• Strong proficiency working with a virtualization library such as react-window to render large data sets.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript (2+ years) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid experience writing maintainable unit tests and working with testing frameworks.
• Proven experience migrating front-end applications from legacy stacks to modern frameworks.
• Background in working on large-scale front-end architectures, ideally in complex domains such as banking or fintech.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility and best practices for inclusive design.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing front-end performance issues in production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and influence others.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and maintenance of responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React and its ecosystem, ensuring best practices in component architecture and state management.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to industry best practices and internal coding standards.
• Drive the adoption of scalable front-end architecture patterns and reusable component libraries.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Participate in system design discussions and influence technical direction and tooling choices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies for front-end projects.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and trends, recommending improvements where beneficial.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex UI and performance issues in production environments.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect
• Scrum Master Certification

Salary Range: >$100,000
