Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Hogarth Worldwide Full time

YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Hogarth is looking for a passionate and proactive Content Producer (entry mid wt) to join our dynamic Sydney-based Content Studios department. This is a critical role responsible for the effective scoping and delivery of diverse content projects, guiding them from initial client brief through content creation, making, and optimisation stages.

As a Content Producer, you will manage a wide range of small to medium scale projects, encompassing content, Retail, Stills, Video, OOH, digital, post-production, and VFX – across both studio and location environments. Supporting more senior production experts, you will be the central point of contact for clients, expertly managing expectations, schedules, budgets, assets, and project scopes. A high level of attention to detail is paramount, from creative development and shoots to post-production and financial reporting. You will ensure projects are thoroughly mapped, have clearly defined schedules, are profitable, and always deliver a high standard of quality.

You will collaborate closely with specialists from our Client Delivery and Creative & Strategy Chapters. With a deep interest in all forms of content production, you will bring strong proficiency in marketing content, integrated communications, post, photography, social, and OOH.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Product & Delivery Excellence:

  • Take client briefs and oversee the end-to-end production of content projects, from inception to optimisation.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of content, including Retail, Stills, Video, OOH, digital, post-production, and VFX, executed in both studio and location settings.
  • Oversee and support moderate to complex productions, ensuring a high standard of documentation and output across editing, colour grading, audio recording/mixing, packaging, and delivery.
  • Ensure client briefs are scoped and estimated accurately and on time, resolving any project clashes efficiently.
  • Interrogate and manage the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of project delivery (costs, timings, quality of output, change requests, risks).

Project & Financial Management:

  • Be confident in the development and management timing plans, estimates, and budget trackers for individual projects, monitoring progress against key milestones daily/weekly.
  • Ensure timely review and approval of timelines, estimates, and scope of work for new projects by senior production leads.
  • Actively manage and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to senior production leads when necessary to resolve blockers.
  • Monitor project burn rates and proactively flag any overruns, supporting post-project reconciliations for analysis and reporting of projected vs. actual time/budget/profitability.
  • Ensure projects within your remit are delivered profitably through accurate estimating, timely reconciliation, job closure, and minimising write-offs against set targets.
  • Recognise and flag instances of missed revenue and scope/timing overruns, sharing learnings for continuous improvement..

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Develop trust-based relationships with relevant client contacts, crew, supplier, and agency partners.
  • Work collaboratively with all content studio members to produce the best possible work within agreed budgets and timeframes.
  • Support and collaborate with colleagues, offering mentoring and guidance to more junior colleagues.
  • Promote a collaborative environment within your studio team and across the broader Content Studios department.
  • Contribute to and participate in onboarding programs for new hires as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Likely to have at least 2-3 years experience in content production, content marketing, or a related field, with a strong depth of proficiency across various forms of media (marketing content, photography, integrated communications, post, social, OOH).
  • Demonstrated ability to take a client brief through all stages of content creation, making, and optimisation.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and client expectation management.
  • Developing commercial acumen, with experience in creating estimates and POs, tracking budgets, and understanding of the importance of maintaining project profitability.
  • Proficiency in coordinating the post-production pipeline (edit, colour grading, audio, packaging, delivery).
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interrogate needs and manage expectations effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working with creative, strategy, client delivery, and post-production teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality output across all projects.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, positive, and constructive approach to feedback and team collaboration.
  • An interest in staying current with industry trends, insights, and innovations in content production
