The Role

We are seeking a qualified landscaper with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality outdoor projects. The role involves working on a variety of residential landscaping projects, with tasks ranging from paving and brickwork to retaining walls and irrigation. At times, you may also be required to assist in the quoting process by providing technical input and advice. The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and install paving and brickwork to a high standard.
  • Build retaining wall systems with particular expertise in concrete sleeper walls.
  • Install and maintain garden irrigation systems.
  • Assist in preparing quotes by providing technical advice and practical input when required.
  • Operate landscaping machinery (mini excavator, stand-on track loader) – desirable but not essential.
  • Assist in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Lead and mentor small teams or work alongside casual crew members when required.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy worksite at all times.
Skills & Experience
  • Trade qualification or proven experience as a landscaper.
  • Demonstrated skills in paving, bricklaying, retaining walls, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscaping plans.
  • Experience with machinery (excavators/track loaders) highly regarded but not essential.
  • Previous experience in project management, quoting, or team leadership desirable, but a willingness to learn is equally valued.
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Current driver's licence.
