About us

Wonthaggi Medical Group is the Bass Coast's largest private medical services provider, with GP clinics in Wonthaggi, Inverloch and Newhaven on Phillip Island providing mixed billing medical care to our patients. We also run the Icarus Skin Cancer Clinics in Koo Wee Rup and Wonthaggi.

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, empathetic nature and ability to work under pressure in a busy environment to join us as a Medical Receptionist. We will consider part time or casual, with days and shifts negotiable based on availability. We have multiple opportunities across all areas of the business.

Qualifications & experience

  • Interest in the healthcare field
  • Enthusiastic customer service
  • Computer skills or ability to learn
  • Ability to respect privacy essential

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Meet and greet patients face to face or by phone
  • Process patient accounts
  • Make and manage appointments in our practice management software, Best Practice
  • Positive, team-oriented involvement in the practice
  • Other tasks as required
