About The Opportunity

Nuclear Medicine Scientist
to join our reputable multidisciplinary team.
As part of the
Brisbane North Nuclear Medicine & PET teams
, you'll be joining a group of highly professional clinicians who take pride in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your skillset with exposure to a full range of diagnostic services, including
Nuclear Medicine, PET, CT, and BMD
.
This position is offered on a
Permanent, Full-Time Max Term Contract
basis, working Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
- Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
- Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
- Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.

Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine Scientist qualifications, you will also have:
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
- AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Full working rights in Australia.
