This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced Planning professional to join Anaconda's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial outcomes through effective planning, inventory optimisation, and team leadership across a rapidly growing national store network.
What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing merchandise planning team to deliver business objectives.
- Commercial Planning: Oversee planning frameworks, forecasting models, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with commercial goals.
- Inventory Management: Manage product lifecycle, markdown strategies, and inventory flow to maximise profitability and minimise cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Buying, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand and promotional activity.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyse sales, margin, and inventory data to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
What Are We Looking For
- Minimum 6 years' experience in merchandise planning, including proven success in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver key performance indicators across sales, margin, and inventory.
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
