The job:

Are you passionate about fitness, a "gear nerd" and have extensive knowledge of fitness equipment?

We're a rapidly growing, Canadian owned, e-commerce company selling fitness equipment across Canada, the United States, Australia (and soon the UK and EU), in need of a salesperson to work in our Melbourne (Carrum Downs) Showroom. This position would require overseeing the general operations of the showroom in addition to acting as a sales associate and handling our Australian customer support.

This position will be required to work a set schedule of Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Experience with email ticketing software is an asset, as well as being comfortable on the phone.

What you will be doing:

Assisting customers with product selection and dropping knowledge bombs

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the showroom

Upselling customers

Handling inbound and outbound calls

Working with our Sales Manager to develop our Australian wholesale/commercial clientele

Qualifications:

2+ years of retail sales experience

At least 1 year of leadership experience

Previous knowledge of fitness equipment, or experience in the industry would be a plus
