Due to internal mobility, we are now seeking a Field Coach Trainer to drive continuous improvement across our Brisbane and Pacific Fair stores. You will be responsible for delivering effective training and coaching of retail teams to become true ambassadors of our brand culture and values, driving their impact on the business.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Support Store Managers in identifying training needs and developing tailored coaching plans.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions: new hire induction, product knowledge updates, and clienteling best practices.
  • Coach team members, fostering individual growth and team cohesion.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to align learning outcomes with business objectives.
  • Observe and support staff on the sales floor, providing real-time coaching to enhance the client experience.
  • Drive successful completion of training programs, ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Act as a sounding board for Store Managers, offering a fresh perspective and confident influence.
  • Leverage internal Client Voice results to coach individuals and improve dissatisfaction root causes.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to develop skills combining product knowledge with effective selling to optimize KPI performance.
  • Ensure Store Management has full visibility on training activities, offering recommendations as needed.
  • Manage and monitor in-store training quality and impact through follow-up and active shop floor presence.
  • Identify potential training talent within the store for development and mentoring roles.
  • Facilitate consistent onboarding for new team members, liaising with HR for proactive planning.
  • Liaise regularly with stakeholders, providing feedback on progress to individuals, Managers, and HR during onboarding, induction, and ongoing development.

Additional Information:

  • You will be based across two Queensland stores (Brisbane & Pacific Fair)
  • This is a 5-day-a-week in-store role
  • Occasional interstate travel will be required.

Ideal Candidate:We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a blend of retail acumen, coaching expertise, and a passion for luxury. Your profile:

  • A passionate coaching expert with a deep understanding of various coaching frameworks and methodologies.
  • You have a proven track record of successfully coaching senior sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Spot coaching is one of your core strengths, and you excel at providing immediate, impactful feedback to drive performance improvements.
  • You possess a solid understanding of clienteling, appointment-based sales models, and the dynamics of a retail environment.
  • You are commercially driven, with a passion for aligning learning outcomes with business objectives and exceeding performance targets.
  • Curiosity and agility define your style, with a willingness to adapt to the fast-paced nature of retail and embrace ambiguity.
  • You're comfortable in an autonomous role, working independently to support store teams across Queensland.
  • Flexibility to work around store opening hours, including starting before opening to support team training.

Highly advantageous

  • Experience in a standalone market, demonstrating the ability to operate independently and drive results.
  • Prior management experience, providing valuable insights into store operations and team dynamics.
