We're looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker to join our Workshop team. This hands on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

You'll work as part of a collaborative maintenance team to ensure our plant and equipment are operating at their best supporting the ongoing success of one of Australia's leading agribusinesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and fabrication issues to minimise downtime.
  • Manufacture, modify, and assemble machine components to technical specifications.
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with urgent repairs outside normal hours when required.
  • Mentor apprentices and promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
  • Complete all job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant workshop and adhere to all WHS standards.

About You

  • Trade qualification in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade (Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker).
  • Proven experience in maintenance, fitting, or metal fabrication.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and commitment to quality.
