Are you a people-focused leader passionate about guiding others to achieve their best? This opportunity offers the chance to lead a skilled and cohesive mentoring team supporting apprentices and employers across Victoria, ensuring strong completion outcomes and compliance excellence.

As Team Leader, you'll oversee a group of dedicated mentors delivering tailored support to apprentices from pastoral care to career guidance helping them overcome barriers and thrive. You'll be part of a dynamic, high-performing national program known for innovation, integrity, and impact.

The Role
You'll lead a team of 9-10 mentors delivering mentoring and personal support services across Victoria, while providing technical guidance to colleagues in other states. Your leadership will focus on:

  • Driving program quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Coaching, supporting and developing your team to exceed performance goals.
  • Analysing data and reporting outcomes with precision.
  • Streamlining systems and leveraging technology (including AI tools) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including employers, apprentices, RTOs and government partners.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a supportive environment that values collaboration, wellbeing, and professional growth.

About You
You're an empathetic yet results-driven leader with deep understanding of the apprenticeship or VET ecosystem. You bring:

  • Proven success leading a dispersed team in a compliance or performance-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeships, traineeships, and VET systems.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capability; experience with ADMS or Ready Apprentice (or ability to learn quickly).
  • A coaching mindset and the ability to implement change smoothly.
  • A current driver's licence and Working with Children Check.

Experience as a Team Leader mentor will be highly regarded.
