About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for the effective and efficient coordination/delivery of the Metro North Health (MNH) fire safety program. The position holder will be appointed fire safety adviser (FSA) for the relevant buildings listed in the MNH building register
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Collaborate with key stakeholders and other members of the MNH fire safety advisory unit (FSAU) to ensure fire safety activities align with legislative requirements, MNH policies/procedures and healthcare fire safety accreditation standards.
Analyse and report on data relating to incidents, audits and inspection processes. Identify and implement strategies that will manage risk across MNH.
Coordinate Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) building fire safety inspections for MNH buildings and develop and implement action plans to ensure identified fire safety issues are resolved.
Assist the Legal Compliance Officer and Principal Fire Safety Coordinator in the development and implementation of the MNH fire safety program.
