Are you passionate about creating safe and resilient workplaces?

Warrnambool City Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Safety & Risk Advisor to join our Safety and Risk Team.

As part of this dynamic team, you will play a key role in delivering Health, Safety, Risk and Injury Management support services across Council. Working under the guidance of the Coordinator Safety & Risk, you'll act as a technical expert and provide trusted advice to staff across the organisation.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in risk, safety or injury management (preferably in a local government or similar setting)
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail
  • Skilled in building positive relationships and influencing outcomes
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively

The Benefits

Temporary full time position until 14 August 2026, with a starting salary of $76,310 per annum (pro-rata).
