Are you passionate about driving quality and safeguarding standards in early childhood and family services?

Warrnambool City Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Quality and Compliance Officer to join our Family and Children's Services team on a temporary, part-time basis.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with service managers and coordinators to ensure our early childhood and family services consistently meet regulatory and quality standards. You will champion best practice approaches that support safe, inclusive, and high-quality outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regulatory Compliance & Quality Management
  • Service Oversight and Support
  • Child Information Sharing and Risk Management (MARAM)
  • Child Safe Standards
  • Training, Capacity Building & Reporting

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education and care regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, compliance, or auditing in a similar context.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and advisory skills.
  • A commitment to child safety, continuous improvement, and culturally safe practice.

The Benefits

Temporary part time position until October 2027 working 45 hours per fortnight, with a starting salary of $90,935 per annum (pro-rata).
