About The Role:

We're looking for a hard working, organised and enthusiastic Packing Room Supervisor to join our company.

You will be hands-on in this role, assisting with all aspects of executing the packing room schedule. The ideal applicant will promote and always adhere to safe operations; comply with procedures; ensure all goods are checked for quality; maintaining documentation and housekeeping. In return, you'll receive the support of our fun, friendly team and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

The role is a full time/permanent position 38hours - Monday to Friday day shift between the hours of 5am-5pm (Split Shift)

Some on the job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensuring the Packing room team are working safely and within Companies Quality guidelines
• Executing the Packing room Schedule
• Assemble and Dis-assemble production line equipment
• Filling and packaging a broad range of cosmetics products and use of filling machinery
• Troubleshoot Line issues and make adjustments as necessary (mechanical aptitude necessary to fulfil this role successfully.
• Assisting the Production Manager and Operations Manager with adhoc tasks.
• Completing all necessary manufacturing paperwork
• Cleaning and upkeep of all production equipment
• Follow GMP requirements and work closely with QC staff to ensure products meet the requirements of the customer and the highest possible standards of the company and the customer
• Clean & sanitise equipment for use.
• Clear and clean manufacturing area of previous batches before starting a new job.
• Prepare pallets/parcels correctly and in time for courier pickup

Selection Criteria:

• Excellent communication skills and team player
• A strong work ethic. We are a fast paced production facility and look for team members who enjoy this working environment
• Mechanical Aptitude- ability to troubleshoot and assemble/disassemble equipment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.
• Past experience in liquid filling and bulk manufacturing operations in pharmaceuticals, cosmetic or food manufacturing on a production line environment is advantageous however training will be provided.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships
• Ability to work without supervision and continually show initiative
• Enthusiasm, with a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Hold a current unrestricted Driver's license
• Forklift license and experience desirable
