At Primus, our mission is to reduce the inconvenience for our clients.  We are a leading boutique law firm specialising in motor vehicle debt recovery and are on the hunt for a talented and reliable Paralegal to join our dynamic team. We offer a hybrid work environment and no billable hours If you are a Paralegal with litigation experience, this could be the role for you

Your new role

  • Managing a large caseload whilst working efficiently to deliver a high-quality output in a timely fashion.
  • Onboarding clients in the pre-litigation process.
  • Drafting various legal court documents (Complaints, Statements of Claims and preparing other legal documentation/applications) where required.
  • To provide assistance to colleagues across the firm to deliver outcomes required by the business and its clients.
  • Negotiating commercial settlements with other parties to achieve best outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience managing and conducting own files end-to-end with autonomy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of court processes and civil litigation rules in various jurisdictions.
  • Litigation experience highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Target driven whilst maintaining excellent client care.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and client service standards.
  • Strong negotiating settlements.
