The Role

We are seeking a high-calibre Payroll Officer based at our Dandenong South facility to deliver accurate, compliant and timely end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 200 employees across our fast-moving and growing business. This includes:

  • Managing payroll processing on weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple entities
  • Managing data, roster and timesheet data flow and follow up using from our time and attendance system (Humanforce)
  • Processing payroll through HR3
  • Working with our operations and finance teams to align payroll data with SAP Business One (ERP)
  • Maintaining employee records, new starter set up / onboarding, termination calculaitons / offboarding details, leave, entitlements and statutory requirements
  • Managing workcover payment set up, reporting and administration
  • Responding to payroll queries with clarity, care and the occasional smile
  • Supporting payroll reporting, reconciliations and audits
  • Ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of relevant people master data across payroll and time and attendance systems
  • Contributing to process improvements and helping us keep our systems clean and humming

You'll also have a chance a key part of our upcoming HRIS implementation as we roll out a shiny new system (project kicking off late Nov A brilliant opportunity to help shape smarter workflows and future-ready systems.

About You

You'll thrive here if you're organised, detail-driven and love an upbeat rhythm in your work. Ideally, you have:

  • Significant experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a multi-brand or multi-entity environment
  • Ability to confidently use payroll and T&A systems (experience with HR3, Humanforce and SAP Business One is ideal but not essential)
  • An excellent understanding of awards, entitlements, superannuation, workcover, leave and payroll compliance in a food manufacturing setting
  • Great communication skills and a friendly, solution-focused approach
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • An interest in process improvement and new system implementations
  • A calm, steady approach that balances detail, accuracy and action when deadlines arrive
