How you'll make a difference

The role of IT Asset Manager will join our team and support AECOM's global IT asset and configuration management practices, here's how you will make a difference across our diverse teams:

  • Provide support, advice and solutions to internal teams, technology partners, and vendors.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and leadership teams to manage and improve how we track and handle IT hardware and software.
  • Play a key part in processes like hardware refreshes, software licensing, and ongoing improvements — working closely with our outsourced IT provider to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Manage the governance and continuous improvement of IT asset management practices across hardware and software assets, including data health, lifecycle management, inventory optimization, and usage tracking and compliance.
Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

  • Tertiary Degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT asset management (typically gained over 8 years' + experience) with demonstrated experience across both HAM and SAM.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, alongside interchangeable experience across both SAM Pro and HAM Pro, and related asset management tools.
  • Driven and autonomous IT Asset Manager, with a genuine passion to provide best practice process across local and global regions.
  • Prior experience in the Engineering and Construction sector will be highly regarded, but not essential.
