About the role

In this newly-created role reporting to the Head of Enterprise Compliance, you will lead a small team to facilitate administration of the Breach Committee, own the oversight of the portfolio of incidents and provide relevant and accurate data to assist with mitigation of future breaches and incidents.

This will include:

  • Incident Assessment & Evaluation – initial triage and identification of any data gaps
  • Ensuring the availability of quality data to facilitate accurate reporting to senior leaders, regulators, and the Board.
  • Oversight of incident records across the portfolio, ensuring timely updates are supplied and supporting the coordination of incident response
  • Portfolio wide root cause identification and trends analysis
  • Working closely with the Risk Advisory teams, ensuring complete and accurate information is available to enable timely and informed breach assessments and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies

Experience and Qualifications

You'll bring:

  • A strong understanding of the Superannuation or Financial Services sector, including required ASIC / APRA regulatory standards and reporting requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build and grow relationships with senior stakeholders
  • The ability to remain calm and work to tight deadlines in high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Experience with risk systems or reporting tools would be an advantage
