The Opportunity:H.P Heavy Industry Pty Ltd are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, production schedules and other technical documents to fabricate, assemble, and repair a variety of equipment and metal components, and determine job instructions and specifications.
  • Operate a range of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, Oxy welding and stick welding.
  • Perform cutting etc with oxy/acetylene.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on conveyor belt system
  • Communicate and collaborate with other trades people and team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained.

**Job requirements:

1.Essential:**

  • CIII in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in welding, fabrication and repairs of heavy machinery.
  • Proficient in a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Oxy welding and stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge and experience to solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely manage a variety of tasks and achieve effective and timely outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Actively seek out ways for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
  • Full Australian working rights (Visa, or permanent residency or citizenship).
  • Valid full Australian Driver's Licence and National Police Check.

2.Desirable:

  • Tickets: Dogging, Work at Heights, Forklift, Overhead Crane.
  • Days, Nights and Weekends Available.
