Your new role

As a Business Services Manager, you'll lead a team of 6-7 staff and work closely with experienced Partners. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, delivering tax planning and advisory services, and identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes. You'll also play a key role in mentoring staff and contributing to the firm's strategic direction, with future potential for partnership or equity buyout.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 5-7 years' experience as a Manager in a tax/accounting firm
  • Strong technical skills across tax, financial reporting, CGT, FBT, Div7A, and advisory
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor staff
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship
