About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver with a strong background in Dangerous Goods (DG) transport, particularly bulk explosives and SSAN tankers. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in professional driving standards and wants to be part of a supportive and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely pick up and deliver DG shipments, with a focus on bulk tankers and explosives.
  • Ensure vehicles are operated, maintained, and presented to the highest standard.
  • Follow road laws, customer site rules, and all company procedures.
  • Apply correct load restraint, safety, and security procedures at every stage.
  • Check transport documentation and packaging for compliance before departure.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records, complying with fatigue management requirements.
  • Class 5.1 Tanker transport and operation.
  • Uphold company safety and quality systems, ensuring every job meets customer expectations.

Qualifications and skills required:

·       Current MC licence with proven heavy vehicle driving experience.

  • Dangerous Goods Driver Licence (essential).

  • Previous experience with bulk DG, explosives, or tankers.

  • Sound knowledge of ADG Code, AEISG guidelines, AEC3, HV Route planning and Chain of Responsibility.

  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality service delivery.
  • Current DG Security Card, Dangerous Goods Drivers licence and Explosives Drivers Licence highly regarded.
  • Full Australian Working Rights.
