Workfast are currently seeking for 2:1 roster DIDO Painters/Blasters for our client working on their Olympic Dam paint shop inRoxby Downs, SA.

This is a DIDO ongoing role with a 2:1 roster and leads to a full-time position.

Highlight:

  • Roxby Downs, SA12 hours per day
  • Day shift $51 per hour flat rate - $4284 per week
  • Flat rate - super on all hours
  • Work for a reputable company and one of the biggest mining sites
  • Accommodation provided
  • Meal allowance
  • Ongoing job with a full-time position

Note:

  • Must be able to clean-shave

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
  • White card
  • Driver's licence
  • Confined Space Ticket (within x5 years old)
  • Working at Heights Ticket (within x5 years old)
  • Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical

Responsibilities :

  • Industrial experience preferred
  • Must be a competent abrasive blaster
  • Must be conversant with 2-pack epoxy paints
  • Mush has experience in the operation of conventional and airless spray equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a VOC and spray to specified DFTs
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
  • Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
