About the role

Reporting to the Regional Fulfillment Centre Manager, we are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead the team in delivering on our commitment to our Customers.

What you would do in this role

• Hands on leadership and mentoring of the team with a focus on developing a culture of collaboration, high performance, continuous improvement to maximise operational efficiency
• Analysis of operational data and performance metrics to identify and lead the implementation of process optimisation initiatives
• Communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams across the business
• Build and grow relationships with external vendors, supplier and transport providers
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular safety audits and inspections, investigation of accidents, incidents and near-misses and development of corrective and preventative actions to mitigate risk
• Participating and contributing to the establishment and commission of our Regional Fulfilment Centre

• Proven ability in developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Solid understanding of health & safety including implementing a safe system of work in a warehouse environment
• Proven knowledge and experience in continuous improvement roll outs including lean principles, six sigma and other methodologies
• Customer focused, self-driven and results orientated with a strong business acumen
• Ability to analyse, interpret and share data
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in an automated warehouse environment
• Tertiary qualification or appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business highly regarded
