We are seeking a talented individual to join our Transport team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Melbourne office. This is a fulltime and hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is pivotal in driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of transport accounts. If you are passionate about building client relationships and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you
We will count on you to:
- Assist the Principals with the management of their portfolio's in all aspects of client service, including administration, technical support and business development through the accurate, efficient and timely production of all policy and related documentation.
- Develop, implement, and manage policies and insurance programs tailored to client needs.
- Adhere strictly to the Company's Quality practices and other systems and procedures.
- Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
- Utilising operations team with invoices and related policy accounting documentation.
- Information and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings;
- Policy wordings and endorsements review as needed for own portfolio and for Principal's.
- Draft renewal reports and insurance manuals.
- Certificates of currency.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers through regular communication and meetings.
- Engage in industry events and client functions to build a robust professional network and represent Marsh effectively.
- All other documentation & other duties as may be required from time to time.
Client Awareness/Knowledge
- Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers
- Develop and maintain a sound technical understanding of all major classes of insurance and specialist services which the Company offers to its clients.
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation.

- Drive & self-motivation - Seeks out and acts on opportunities and calculated risks. Demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently with minimal yet appropriate reference back to manager/supervisor.
What you need to have:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organizational risk management.
- A proven track record of managing client accounts and client engagement.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Essential Tier 1 FSRA Compliance; or ANZIIF and tertiary qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
