Our Market Leading venue is looking for an Assistant Manager and we are accepting applications from energetic, creative, hands on and passionate candidates. As a valuable member of the leadership team you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the venue, staff culture is important to us and you will be a key player in getting the best out of the team. You will be expected to be competent in all front of house departments which include bars, bistro, gaming and cash handling.

Our Hotel is looking for a candidate who can think outside the square, bring an entrepreneurial spirit to really drive the business forward. Your natural love of food & beverage coupled with solid management experience will make you the ideal candidate.

You must have previous hospitality management experience in a leadership position and be looking for an opportunity to progress. This role has the potential to grow and develop you as an individual having exposure to all facets of the business.

The successful candidate needs to possess the following experience and skills:

  • A strong knowledge of Pub operations, value team culture and customer satisfaction and be flexible in operational duties.

  • A solid understanding of financials and be able to manage the day to day business expenses including labour costs, bar and food gross profits and have a strong knowledge of stock control.

  • Food, wine and beer knowledge.

  • A strong gaming background.

  • Driving functions and event revenue.

  • The ability to multi-task.

  • A hands-on leader with the ability to coach and motivate the team.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management role.

  • RSA and RCG

  • Ability to obtain advanced RCG
