About us: OCS is a leading provider of cleaning services, committed to excellence and professionalism. We are an international Facilities Management organisation looking for a supervisor to work near Sydney Airport.  

The ideal applicant will be well presented, proactive and able to work well on their own and in a team. They will also be able to use their initiative in their daily routine to provide services that are of a high standard.

*Role:*

  • Full-Time - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities for Cleaners:

  • Cleaning public areas, wet areas, cold rooms and indoors
  • Kitchen cleaning
  • Floor buffing, mopping and vacuuming
  • Reporting to your Duty Manager
  • Following strict security and OHS procedures
  • Lead by example by actively participating in cleaning tasks alongside the cleaning team.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of cleaning procedures, equipment, materials, and provide guidance and support to staff as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate procedures as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are met or exceed client expectations.

Essential Criteria:

  • Cleaning Experience in various aspects of cleaning or catering Facility (preferred)
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Knowledge of chemical use and PPE
  • Understanding of OHS practices
  • Well-presented and ability to follow safety instructions
  • Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance
  • Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia
  • Good communication skills
