Part-time Secondary School French Teacher – 0.6 FTE ongoing, Term 1

We are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of French for Years 8-10. Experience of or capacity to teach VCE French would be considered an advantage.

The successful applicant will provide engaging and contemporary teaching programs that foster a love of language and culture while supporting students to achieve their personal best.

• Inspire and engage students through a passion for teaching French, with strong knowledge of phonetics, grammar and cultural nuance
• Promote French language and culture within the classroom and wider school community
• Teaching an education program that enables all students to achieve their highest potential
• Commitment to Occupational, Health and Safety and maintaining a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree in Education, French Language, Linguistics or a related field
• Flexibility, adaptability and a collaborative approach to teaching
• Native speaker or similar standard preferred
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• A passion for nurturing students' curiosity, resilience and intercultural understanding
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
