Turks are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Employers Liability team on a full time basis.

Responsibilities

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to;

  • preparation and drafting of court documents/correspondence;
  • court filing;
  • diary management;
  • brief preparation;
  • monthly billing;
  • opening/closing files;
  • executive/ personal assistant duties as required;
  • assisting lawyers as necessary; and
  • general secretarial and administrative tasks.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 1+ years recent experience as a legal assistant;
  • executive/ personal assistant experience desirable;
  • exceptional organisational skills; and
  • a meticulous eye for detail and accurate proof reading skills.

In addition, you will:

  • have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to work within tight time frames;
  • enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work;
  • a commitment to a career in legal support; and
  • ability to work autonomously and within a team.
