Are you looking to launch your career in Information Technology? We're offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an IT Trainee, where you'll gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Information Technology – and get paid while you learn

Role Summary:   

ARC Disability Services Inc. is a community-based organisation with a long history in the Cairns and Far North supporting children and adults who have a disability, their families and support networks. We are on the look-out for an IT enthusiast who can join our Team as IT Trainee on a 12 month contract. 

  • Full-time 12-month Traineeship
  • 38hrs per Week - Traineeship wages apply
  • Entry level position

What You'll Be Doing:

As part of our IT team, you'll support a range of tasks including:

  • Asset Management – tagging and tracking IT equipment
  • Device Replacement – monitoring schedules and reporting updates
  • System Maintenance – updating records as required
  • New User Setup – helping new staff get access to systems
  • Onboarding Support – providing face-to-face IT support for new corporate staff
  • Basic IT Support – helping troubleshoot common tech issues
  • Register Maintenance – keeping device and phone records up to date

  • You're organised, reliable, and enjoy helping others
  • You're a team player with good communication skills
  • You have a driver's licence and your own vehicle
  • Be able to get a blue and yellow card (we can help with this)
