About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program / Planning Manager to manage the planning and scheduling of complex projects from the tender phase through to project delivery for our growing portfolio of New Build projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that industry leading standards for Planning and Programming processes, procedures, systems are implemented across bids and projects.

This will include: 

  • Programme development and approval processes
  • Pre-construction planning, with a focus on design management and planning requirements
  • Production controls for pre-construction and delivery phases
  • Planning and programming training
  • Programme status, forecasting, analysis and risk control
  • As-built data recording
  • Time claims administration support to the site teams
  • 4D animation integration
  • Lead the planning for the planning and programming function for all tenders and negotiated offers   
  • Approve Contract Programmes against head contract requirements for commercial compliance
  • Establishment of the template Delivery Project suite of production control documents, including Tender Letting and Procurement schedules, reporting templates, delay registers
  • Ensure Delivery Project programme status and forecasts are captured contemporaneously and systematically reported, identifying risks and opportunities, to facilitate timely decision making
  • Setup as-built programmes procedure and commence establishment of benchmark productivity data rates to track trends, forecast resource risks and improve the rigour in planning and programming
  • Implement a structured and realistic approach to planning for all bids and live projects, with a focus on the pre-construction phase and activities of the Client, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers

  • Can influence with both internal and external stakeholders in the engineering, consulting or construction industries
  • Experience in using relevant technology e.g Primavera P6, Asta / Power Project, MS Project
