Wood is seeking Expressions of Interest from remarkable people with Technical & Professional expertise on gold projects to join our Projects business based in Brisbane, Queensland on a 12-month maximum term contract with possibility for extension. All positions are offered on a par-time, full time or job share basis.

For over 60 years, from study through start-up, at pace and at scale, we have been advancing the world's largest and most technically challenging mining projects across key commodities.

Opportunities are available across the following Engineering Disciplines with gold project experience:

• Engineering – all disciplines- mechanical (static, rotating and stationary equipment), piping, process, electrical, instrument and control, civil, structural, architecture, network and communication
• Project Controls – including scheduling and planning, cost and project controls management
• Supply Chain – contracts and procurement
• Project Engineering and Project Management

Responsibilities
All roles available on a fix-term 12 months contract (possibility for extension), with flexibility to work on a full-time / part-time or job share basis and include:

• Engineering (14 + years' experience)
• Project Controls

Expected
You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.

Suitably qualified with a degree in Engineering, Scientific Discipline, or related technical field, you will have a minimum of five years relevant experience working in a similar role on gold projects within the mining sector.

Experience working in the Middle East or with clients based within that region is preferred
