About the role
SCA Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fabricator/Welder Tradesman to join our team in Emu Heights, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the fabrication and welding of a variety of metal products, in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
What you'll be doing
- Read and interpret workshop drawings
- Use a variety of welding equipment and techniques for fabrication
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure optimal productivity
- Use plant equipment like CNC saws, CNC drills as well as power tools
- Follow all relevant safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and your colleagues
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Qualified Fabricator/Welder with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficient in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
