Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, Strategic Growth

  • Work with UNICEF – the world's largest children's charity
  • Shape the next generation of purpose-driven partnerships
  • FT permanent position, with hybrid work arrangements

UNICEF is the world's largest children's charity working to protect vulnerable children, globally and here in Australia. Run entirely on voluntary donations, UNICEF work to improve the lives of every vulnerable child, no matter who they are or where they live. Every day their teams are on the ground in 190 countries working with local partners to deliver lifesaving help and create lasting change. From vaccinating children in war zones to providing early childhood education access in Indigenous communities, donations help protect every child, no matter what.

What we are looking for:

UNICEF Australia has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager
to join now and lead a new era of corporate engagement with the Business Development team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this is a pivotal role in reimagining UNICEF Australia's approach to corporate engagement and will shape the next generation of purpose-driven partnerships.

This role demands a commercially astute leader with strong sales capability, exceptional relationship management skills and a sophisticated understanding of how business and purpose interact.

Rather than continuing traditional one-to-one business development, we are looking for someone to shake up and modernise how UNICEF partners with Corporate Australia – designing a bold new strategy that convenes industries, builds coalitions and mobilises business leaders around shared outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identification, design, development and implementation of innovative corporate partnership strategies, focusing on multi-sector engagement and collective influence
  • Deliver income and growth targets, ensuring strategic alignment with UNICEF Australia's objectives
  • Position UNICEF Australia as a national convener for corporate purpose, bringing together business, government, and community leaders to collaborate on shared social impact goals.
  • Build strategic alliances, lead forums and other thought-leadership engagements to elevate UNICEF's presence and create new partnership pathways.
  • Lead complex partnership negotiations, ensuring sound commercial principles, governance and mutual value creation
  • Lead and inspire a small, high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure accurate pipeline management, clear forecasting, regular insights and results reporting

What you will need:

  • Extensive experience in corporate partnerships, business development or strategic growth, ideally within purpose-led, corporate or consulting environments
  • Proven ability to design and execute new market strategies and build multi-sector partnerships
  • Demonstrated success in securing and negotiating complex, high-value deals with senior-level corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong network and credibility among C-suite and senior executives across Australian business, enabling access, influence, and high-level relationship building.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of corporate strategy, ESG, and brand value creation.
  • Expertise in applying modern sales frameworks and engagement tactics to accelerate pipeline performance.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and influencing skills - confident in engaging C-suite and board-level audiences.
  • Experience leading small teams and fostering high-performance, adaptive cultures.
  • Strong analytical capability and proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Deep alignment with UNICEF's mission and a passion for mobilising the corporate sector for children's rights and well-being.

What will it feel like to work at UNICEF Australia

  • An environment and culture built on the importance of teamwork, collaboration and shared purpose
  • Sector-leading salary packaging and a competitive salary commensurate with the NFP sector
  • A flexible work environment with balance between home and office work, which puts the wellbeing of our staff at the centre of our decision making (50/50 hybrid)
  • A positive and values-driven work culture which celebrates our achievements and recognises our teams
  • A wellbeing package which includes such things as access to meditation, yoga, EAP and Birthday leave
  • Commitment to our child-first philosophy with generous paid parental leave
  • The opportunity to support a global impactful cause and make a difference for every child
