CoreStaff have an opportunities for Electrical & Mechanical Trades Assistants in Perth Metro Locations 

  • North of the River
  • South of the River
  • Eastern Suburbs

What the role will involve:

  • Receiving direction to work on specific components and follow work instructions/processes
  • Undertaking tasks onsite under direct or indirect supervision
  • Carry out inspections and record information
  • Perform assembly and dismantling operations
  • Cleaning and preparing working surfaces
  • Carrying out operation and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant and equipment
  • Use of power tools and and tools
  • Assist in operations and maintenance across the different teams

The successful candidates MUST have:

  • Current National C class driver's license & reliable transport
  • Relevant experience working in a workshop environment as well as onsite jobs experience (Welding, Fabrication, Fitting or Machining workshop) assisting Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, Electricians
  • Relevant High-Risk Licenses, Dogging, Over Head Crane, Forklift
  • Confined space and working at heights s
