We are Australia's leading Digital Asset Management (DAM) company dedicated to streamlining how organisations manage, store, and distribute their digital assets. Our customers are the marquee brands across multiple industries in Australia. Our innovative solutions empower businesses to work smarter and faster in a digital-first world.
The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth delivery pipelines, robust cloud infrastructure, and high system availability. You'll work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to optimise deployment workflows, implement automation, strengthen our monitoring and security practices, and build reliable Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable product releases.
Maintain, scale, and optimise cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, high availability, and resilience.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Certificate management & ACME protocol: deploy and operate cert-manager (or equivalent) for automated TLS lifecycle management (issuance, renewal, monitoring, troubleshooting).
BGP and MetalLB configuration: design and maintain Kubernetes load balancer networking with BGP peers, IP pools, and high-availability routing.
Implement DevOps security best practices, including:
- Shift-left security in pipelines
- Container and image scanning
- Secrets management and secure storage
- RBAC/OPA policy enforcement
- Secure CI/CD pipeline design and monitoring
- Ensure overall security and compliance across environments.
Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues across the full application stack.
Support incident response and root cause analysis to improve resilience.
Continuously evaluate and adopt tools and technologies to improve DevOps workflows.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (design, deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration in production environments.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in certificate management (cert-manager, ACME protocol).
- Hands-on experience with BGP routing and MetalLB in Kubernetes networking.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and policy enforcement (RBAC/OPA).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration.
Nice to Have

- Exposure to DAM systems or media asset workflows.
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Background in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Any exposure to Rancher would be highly regarded
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package.
- Flexible working arrangements (remote/hybrid options).
- Opportunity to shape the infrastructure of a growing SaaS platform.
- A supportive and innovative team culture.
