We are looking for an experienced kitchen hand to join our amazing team at Waterfall Gully Cafe.

To be successful the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is preferable

  • Able to deliver a consistent approach to quality and quantity control.

  • Maintain a high level of food safety and food handling practices.

  • Valid Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting)

  • Ability to work well within a small team.

  • Reliable.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • A passion for food and kitchen operations.

  • Self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.

  • Have a professional manner and be well presented.

  • Must have the right to work in Australia.

Your Duties would include:

  • Food preparation

  • Sandwich making

  • Assisting the chef with service.

  • Cleaning dishes during shift.

  • Taking food to tables and clearing dirty dishes from tables.
